The Faculty offers a four year honors degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), specializing in either Knowledge Systems or Computing Technology.
We aim at training students in different aspects of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), making sure they are exposed to knowledge, relevant practical skills and values associated with ‘Best Practices’ in ICT.
The Faculty responds to the changing needs of employers by tailoring the curriculum to match the current trends in Information Technology.

Objectives
Some of the core objectives of the Faculty of ICT include:
To train students in different aspects of Information and Communication Technology.
To enable graduates to acquire international qualifications and recognition in ICT.
To offer the balance of academic training, professional advisement, community involvement and practical experience that will enable graduates to secure employment or create employment in the field of ICT.
ICT Core
All students will share the same curriculum during their first three years and will cover programming languages, computer architecture, data structures and algorithms, software engineering, data communications, databases and operating systems as their core courses. At the beginning of the fourth year, they will select one of the tracks (fields of specialization).
Practical Experience
During the third year (second semester), students will have a full-time internship/industrial attachment of six months. This is assigned 60 CUs and will be monitored by the ICT staff. At the end of the internship period, a student must submit a report for marking. In fourth year, a student is required to do research, write and present a scientific dissertation.
The faculty of Information Technology has a student population of more than 500 students, 10 lecturers, fully equiped two Computer lab, book bank and full time internet service.
